i figured out a way to use dlogs without pressing f8 Go into console and type in bind "(letter)" "damagelogs" |

yep nope this game hates me
I crashed and when I started it up again it did not work
even when I tried to rebind it
it was something along those lines

Because others such as Lord Kylo Ren were having the same issue, and for anyone else should they have the same issue occur.
