Frankly ever since I saw this weapon I've hated it. Mainly due to how little skill it requires and how powerful it is. One of the reasons I did indeed quit the server is due to this weapon, and a few other things. I would be playing on the server minding my own business and get shot by a T with the Double Barrel, before I knew it I died without being able to fight back. As shown in this hilarious display
That was the same double barrel shotgun in our server. Rdmers enjoy this lovely weapon, and tend to use it frequently.
I highly suggest that you remove it Backstab, and I promise that many others agree with me.

I said previously, the con of this weapon is that if you miss, you die. It's recognizable and it's REALLY loud.
Traitors go stealth. People hear the gun, and everyone will know...
THATS THE POINT!! Yeah, maybe it can one shot, but a deagle can too, in the head. Maybe DB is body shot, but again, its only 1 SHOT AND IF YOU MISS YOU DIE. Nerfing it would be unfair because then even if you shoot, it wont kill and then the person has to switch to 2ndary...

1. Have you even seen how fast it is to reload one shell if you miss?
2. Sure D. Eagles can one shot with a head shot but the difference is the right click on the DB can insta kill from the torso up and over time the D. Eagle will lose precision.
3. Do you know how clueless some people are? Oh my gawd, I killed a person in front of a dude and he just stood there instead of chasing me.

IMO the best solution would be THE DB could only shoot one barrel at a time with a delay in between each shot. The balance is even more messed up because of the whole realistic spread or what ever. It made the automatic guns basically useless for medium/long range so now most primary weapons are short ranged. The only counters are sniper rifles or pistols which can be hard to perfect.

Tuk, the reload isn't that fast. A primary weapon should kill people when all bullets are used in a clip. Since DB only has 2 bullets, it makes sense to 1 shot... Other guns have like 30 bullets/clip.
Like I said, DB IS LOUD. LOUD LOUD. Even if it is one shot, it has lots of cons.
Yes some ppl are clueless, but it's their fault for NOT PAYING ATTENTION!!!!

You can reload and shoot one shell a little slower then how fast a winchester shoots.

They'll scream, "WEAPONS AREN'T KOS-ABLE!! YOU HAVE TO SEE ME KILL HIM!!" And yes, the fire rate of one shell is the speed of the Deagle, and can one shot anyone that isn't at 100. THere is no counterplay to the DB. You have no time to react, or call kos. If you shoot someone who's following you with the DB and is obviously getting close to kill you, that's rdm. Most weapons you have to land a headshot in order to instakill, which resolves the conflict of "if you miss you're dead." |

There is absolutely nothing you can do vs someone using a double barrel. Ammo clip size doesn't matter with a fire rate that fast, you can't call weapon susses, and a DB can take out people easier than most traitor weapons. If you see someone aiming you down with a DB, you know that one click will result in your death. YOu can try to dodge it for as long as you want, but you are going to die and you will have no time to cry for help. It renders every other gun useless, and removes all sense of skill from the game. Hell, the DB should just swap out the AK in the t shop.
Why even settle for any other gun? The range? Just buy a five-seven or dual elites, or whip out your silenced scout.
