I'm looking for something to watch, any suggestions? I've seen Fullmetal Alchemist, SAO, and I'm not interested in AOT, or Soul Eater.

one piece is amazing sadly I'm watching it dubbed but if i had to suggest "is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon" for something more relevant and innocent.
or death parade for more mystery desert punk for apocalyptic funny male comedy. and akame ga kill for the feels action and adventure

oh if you like the sad feeling ones but with a hint of action theres darker then black and akimbo ga kill those are the only two anime i have ever cried too

Soul eater has to be my personal fav, but since you aren't interested in that I'd point you towards Black Lagoon (a mostly action and character based anime with lots of guns, violence and swearing, but still very well made). I also enjoyed Elfen Lied, but that's not really a show for younger people (though granted I guess Black Lagoon isn't either). For something not AS violent, I'd recommend Madoka Magica, a very well made show that contorts the typical "magical girl" genre. And lastly, for just a fun slice-of-life romantic comedy, I'd recommend the currently-airing Ore Monogatari, which has been a ton of fun to watch so far. Hope that helps!
